We're a new boat company and as with all new products people ask "Why?".   Why indeed.

There are two answers to this question depending upon who you are and why you're visiting.

If you're a recreational boater - an offshore fisherman, tournament competitor or even family boater, Rock Salt was created to give you access to the incredible toughness and low maintenance of marine-grade, aluminum alloy boats.  While you may think of aluminum as riveted, sheet metal lake boats - plate aluminum construction has been the standard for years in the large workboat, military and yacht markets - you now have a boat company bringing this material and technology to you - for more information please click on the button to your left:  Recreational FAQ.
